On Wednesday 6 February ErpcoGoal® came into production at the ADO Group. This project involved modifications to the current GOAL SYSTEMS products to adapt them to the Mexican reality and the ADO Group specifically.

This group handles 4,100 buses, is a benchmark in Mexico with regard to service quality and in Mexico City alone controls 4 bus stations, of which TAPO is the worldwide leader in terms of size and volume.

The ADO Group also provides courier services, urban transportation and hotels. It is a benchmark company for other Interurban Transportation companies in Mexico with regard to technology and innovation. The system’s part than hasbeen put into production is the long-distance bus route planning.

For the ADO Group this entails a modification of many standard process standards that have been used for the last 70 years, the most important of which is the centralisation of planning at the F.D. headquarters.  Moreover, this approach will result in very significant benefits for the client and the coming into production is the best recognition of this.

The adaptation of the GoalBus® and GoalDriver® systems in order to apply them at this company, having analysed the results obtained, consolidates the leadership of GOAL SYSTEMS in America in bus planning and optimisation solutions, as well as demonstrating the capacity of adaptation of our products to regulations and working methods that are different to those of Europe.
