Daniel Brandi, new CTO of Goal Systems

Goal Systems, one of the world’s leading providers of state-of-the-art resource planning and optimisation software for the transport industry, has recently appointed Daniel Brandi as the company’s CTO.

This new addition has been made with the aim of developing the evolution of Goal Systems‘ technical strategy direction.

Daniel Brandi is an IT expert with extensive experience as director of development and systems management in highly scalable projects.

Prior to being appointed CTO of Goal Systems, Brandi served as CIO of Orange Bank Spain, where he led the IT team (development, architecture, security, and infrastructure) to define and execute the company’s information technology strategy, as well as the Group’s new banking platform for Europe. He had previously been the company’s software development director.

His experience, and his technical and business skills, always trying to achieve business objectives with the best possible solution, have undoubtedly been some of the reasons that have made Goal Systems choose Daniel Brandi to perform this position.

Daniel Brandi holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from the UPM. He began his professional career as a consultant at Arinso and then at Capgemini. After this, he was part of the Media Net Software team and of the start-up BuyVIP as CTO. Subsequently, he was CTO at Toprural and founded his first company, TagUin.

From there he moved to Prisa Digital as PPM eCommerce and managed the technical platform of Planeo.com. Later, he co-founded Etece, from where he made the leap to Fon, where he served as director of software development.

Daniel Brandi commented that for him “it is a real challenge and a great responsibility to be able to develop the evolution of Goal Systems‘ technical strategy direction”.

“Clearly defining strategic objectives and keeping focus and dedication to them is critical to success. User experience, performance, scalability and, mainly, fit with market expectations are our priorities”, adds Goal Systems’ CTO.

Goal Systems, with a long experience in the computer system development and implementation of IT solutions with the most advanced optimisation techniques for transport operations, thus takes a further step to consolidate its leading position in the market.
